Ours do both. Every treatment uses Jan Marini Skin Research — a clinical skincare range developed in California and used by dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons worldwide. These are cosmeceuticals, not cosmetics: formulations built on glycolic acid, peptides, growth factors and antioxidants, at concentrations only available through trained professionals.

But results alone aren't why people rebook. We've built the experience around something the clinical world often forgets — that lying still for ninety minutes, warm, unhurried, with someone taking care of you, is worth as much as anything in the bottle.

THE MARINI FACIAL

The foundation treatment, and where most people start.

Built around a green papaya enzyme resurfacing — an exceptionally effective yet gentle exfoliation — combined with steam, extractions and massage for immediate visible improvement.

THE C-ESTA FACIAL — firming and antioxidant

Vitamin C and DMAE, one of the most effective combinations for firmness.

DMAE is a cellular mediator that visibly tightens and defines facial contours; Vitamin C brightens while providing powerful antioxidant protection against pollution and environmental damage. Skin feels measurably firmer.

Progressive glycolic resurfacing

For clients wanting accelerated results, Jan Marini's professional glycolic protocols use concentrations of 40% and 70% — well beyond anything available for home use — to address pigmentation, texture, acne scarring and photodamage with virtually no downtime.

Best results come from a series of six, spaced seven to ten days apart, with intensity adjusted through the course based on how your skin responds.

Important: glycolic resurfacing requires two to three weeks of home preparation with Jan Marini products before your first treatment. This isn't an upsell — preparing the skin properly is what makes the treatment both safe and effective. We'll set this up at your consultation.

Dermaplaning

A sterile single-use blade removes dead surface cells and fine vellus hair. Skin feels remarkably smooth, makeup sits beautifully, and — importantly — active ingredients penetrate far more effectively afterwards.

Pairs particularly well with any Jan Marini protocol for exactly that reason.

Note: the hair grows back exactly as before — same texture, same colour. Not suitable over active acne, pustules or inflamed skin.

Microneedling (Collagen Induction Therapy)

Fine needles create controlled micro-channels, triggering the skin's own collagen and elastin production. One of the most effective treatments available for texture, scarring and firmness.

Best for: acne scarring, fine lines, enlarged pores, loss of firmness

Note: best as a course of three to six, four weeks apart. Expect redness for 24–48 hours.

Mesotherapy

Homecare

Professional treatment does perhaps 20% of the work. What you use at home does the rest.

We prescribe Jan Marini homecare individually — never a blanket recommendation. Your practitioner will build a routine around your skin, your budget and how much you'll realistically do. If three products is what you'll stick to, we'll give you three.

Clients on a course or membership receive 10% off all retail.

Before your treatment

Arrive ten minutes early. Not because we're strict, but because rushing in and lying straight down doesn't work. Those ten minutes are part of the treatment.

Come without makeup if you can. Not essential — we'll remove it — but it gives us more time with your skin.

Tell us everything at consultation. Medications, recent treatments, allergies, pregnancy, whether you're getting married in a fortnight. All of it changes what we recommend.

Avoid sun exposure and retinol for a few days beforehand unless your practitioner has advised otherwise.

Is it right for me?

Facials suit almost everyone. We may need to adjust the treatment or recommend an alternative if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding — many treatments are fine, some aren't, so tell us

• Have active cold sores, infection or broken skin

• Have had recent injectables — we usually wait two weeks

• Have taken oral isotretinoin in the last six months

• Have recent sun exposure or sunburn

• Have a known allergy to any ingredient

Glycolic resurfacing, microneedling and mesotherapy have their own suitability criteria and require a separate consultation and consent.
